Evil is What Evil Thinks Bible Study
The idea of it is simple, when we do what is good, we make God happy and when we do what is evil we make God angry, sad, and even make Him regret creating us! We are just as accountable for our thoughts as we are for the words that we speak from our mouths. Our words simply put, create actions which reflect our thoughts. On this wise, we see that the thoughts we think, the words we speak with our mouths, then create the way we act. How we think, speak, and act affects our relationship with the Lord, our family, our friends and others. People who think evil thoughts tend to speak and do evil things. We are to set our eyes on the Lord and stay away from evil because God cannot stand evil and will not tolerate it. In order to gain control over our mouths we must first gain control over our thoughts by allowing God's word, prayer, and meditation to fill our thoughts with what the Lord wants by allowing the Holy Spirit to reside inside of us and pushing out any evil thoughts or desires we can gain control by allowing the Lord to take control. Praying, being obedient, studying God's Word, seeking Him daily, and putting on the Full Armor of God will provide you with His peace, comfort, blessings, and release from fear. The more of the Lord's word you put into your life, the less evil will be able to reside in your life.
Noah As an example, during the time of Noah before the flood, the Lord regretted making human beings because their thoughts and actions had become nothing but evil all the time and because He could not tolerate their evil thoughts, words, and actions any longer, so He decided to destroy the evil people by flood and save Noah and his family in the ark, to start civilization over again, rather than completely destroy the human race by eliminating all of them, simply because Noah loved the Lord and no evil was found in him.
Job was tried, tested, and passed found to be righteous and without evil after everything he loved was taken from him. Job accepted whatever God allowed to happen to Him and did not speak evil against God during his trials. In James 5:11 Job was considered blessed because he survived the test and is used as an example of God's compassion and mercy.
You don't have to fear evil if you belong to the Lord If we are not doing evil things then we do not have to fear evil. When confronted with evil we are not to fear because God is with us as King David wrote in one of the most popular Psalms still today-Psalms 23.
Evil feeds on fear. Fear can destroy you because when you fear it blocks the Lord's protection. Don't give evil a stronghold on your life! Do not be afraid, no fear, because God is with you and He is your protection and strength.
Stay focused on the Lord, pray, read your bible, and testify for Him every single day and you will not be shaken, worried, or afraid because you know He is your protection and strength.
You should not fear evil because fear is not from God. God has given us four very valuable things to overcome evil. The full armor of God, power, love, and a sound mind. The full armor of God: Power, love, and a sound mind:
Don't worry about what people think or say about you, it is not them that you have to fear or impress. The Lord is the only one that can judge you and He will judge you fairly.
Evil people will find much trouble in their life, be wary of those who call evil good and good evil, that causes confusion and as we know-confusion is from the devil so keep your paths on the straight and narrow.
