Marking Your Body-What God Says About It
Before you get a tattoo or another tattoo or before you do any cutting on your flesh, or permanently marking you body in any way, you need to read this!
Marking Your Body-What the Bible Says About It

According to the Lord, you are not to get any print marks or cuttings on your body. We are not allowed to harm our bodies in any way.
Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I [am] the LORD. Leviticus 19:20
Why you are not supposed to get cuttings or tattoos on your body
Your body is considered as a temple for the Holy Ghost, it was bought with the price of Christ's blood when He died for our sins, and as such, your body belongs to God.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? I Cor. 6:19
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. I Cor. 6:20
Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. I Cor. 6:13
What should you do if you already have a tattoo, permanent marking, or cutting?
You are accountable for what you know, in other words if you did not know at the time that you got your tattoo or cutting that this was against God's word, then you will not be held accountable for it at the time it was done so you can ask God for His forgiveness because you did not know you were sinning against Him. However, it is your responsibility to get it covered or removed as soon as possible, if possible.
You alone are accountable for your actions but you will have to account for them to God
"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." Rom. 14:12
What will happen if you get another tattoo or cutting after you read this or after you know that God has said it is something you should not do?
For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, Heb. 10:26
