Abide under God's Authority Even the most powerful people must abide under God Almighty's authority. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psa. 91:1 Abide in the Lord with confidence When we abide with the Lord we can say with confidence, that He is our protection, a fortress in our time of need. We can trust the Lord.
He will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Psa. 91:2
When you abide in the Lord you can be confident that he can and will protect you from evil people and pestilence's
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Psa. 91:3
Have confidence in the Lord, He is trustworthy, and He will protect you He protects us by hiding us under his wings . We have confidence in the Lord and trust him. The Lord is our shield which protects us.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psa. 91:4
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;. Psa. 91:5
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. Psa. 91:6
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Psa. 91:7
Evil and plagues come to those who do not abide in the Lord and will not happen to those who abide in Him Those of us whom belong to the Lord and abide in Him will be able to see the punishment of the wicked, yet the evil and plagues which happen to them will not happen to the Lord's people who abide in Him because He will provide angels to protect us
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Psa. 91:8
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; Psa. 91:9
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. Psa. 91:10
For he shall give his angels charge oer thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Psa. 91:11
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Psa. 91:12
In order to receive His protection we must abide in Him until He returns
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap. Mal. 3:2
Jesus described Himself as the "true vine" telling us to abide in Him because this is the only way
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; nor more can ye, except ye abide in me. John 15:4
The apostle Paul tells us that we will be rewarded for abiding and doing the Lord's work
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. I Cor. 3:14
Paul reassuring people that we should abide spiritually as well as in the flesh
Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. Phillipians 1:24
And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith. Phillipians 1:25
The wrath of God abideth on people who do not believe in Jesus, the unbelievers will not receive everlasting life He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. St. John 3:36 What Jesus said about abiding in Him Jesus is the only way to get to God the Father
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. St. John 15:1
God expects us to be productive God expects us to be productive, most importantly to love Him, do His will, spread the word of Jesus Christ's sacrifice and tell everyone about Him.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. St. John 15:2
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. St. John 15:3
God expects you to abide in Him so He can abide in you
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. St. John 15:4
God will make you fruitful, successful if you abide in Him Being fruitful means producing god fruit. Once you are saved the Lord expects you to tell others about Him so they can be saved-this is what is meant by fruitful.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. St. John 15:5
Those who do not abide in Him will be discarded and burned
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6
Get your prayer's answered by abiding in the Lord If you want God to answer your prayer's you will need to abide in Him and let His words abide in you.
If ye abide in me and my words abide in you; ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. St. John 15:7
When you obey the truth through the Spirit, you will love one each other with a pure heart
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently. I Peter 1:22 (See Acts 2:24-33)
When you are born again-you are born of incorruptible seed and become a place where the word of God can live and abide forever
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth for ever.I Peter 1:23
