Adamic Covenant: The Adamic Covenant was made by God after Adam and Eve had eaten fruit from the tree that God had forbid them to eat from and as a result there would be enmity between man and woman and between their seed, women would have pain in childbirth, and the ground was cursed. Up to that point food grew abundantly and they did not have to plow the ground or sow seeds but God cursed the ground because Adam had listened to his wife and ate the fruit even after God had told him not to do it, so God caused the ground to grow thorns and thistles and told Adam that they should work for their bread, eat the herbs of the fields for the rest of their lives until they returned to the ground stating, "For out of it was thou taken: for dust thou art and and unto dust shalt thou return"
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Genesis 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
The Adamic Covenant did not change after the New Covenant began with Christ.
