The Call of God

WE WHO ARE IN CHRIST ARE NO LONGER SUBJECT TO THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH. Rom.8:2
HE LIVES SO WE LIVE IN HIM
Romans 5:9, 10, "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if; when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled,WE SHALL BE SAVED BY HIS LIFE"(Emphasis added)
"Having liberty to enter into the holiest BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; and having an high-priest over the house of God; let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith," (Heb. 10:19-22).(emphasis added)
The blood of Christ is the basis of the New Covenant. On the night before He went to the cross, Jesus offered the cup of wine to His disciples and said, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you" (Luke 22:20).
We have no part at all in the matter of our salvation save the beggar's part, of accepting it as a " free gift," procured for us by the precious blood of Christ," (1 Pet. 1:19).
" we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace," (Eph. 1:7).
"He his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree," (1 Pet. 2:24), and thereby, "having made peace by the blood of his cross ," (Col. 1:20), we may at once be "made nigh by THE BLOOD OF CHRIST," (Eph. 2:13), without anything of our own. That God who hath set Him forth, "a propitiation through faith in HIS BLOOD, to declare his righteousness " (Rom. 3:25) in pardoning sin, will pardon ALL sin through faith in Him, for His own testimony is, that "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleans us from all sin. (1 John 1:7). (As we walk in the light of His word we understand the sin in us confess to God, and His intercession for us with our Father keeps us in fellowship and clean).See 1 John 1: 8-10. (No perfect saint's down here! Just impostors)
The blood-shedding of Jesus as "a propitiation for our sins" (1 John 2:2) lies at the very threshold of the Christian life.
"Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen,," (Rev. 1:5,6)
Peace with God through the forgiveness of all our sins may thus be obtained at any moment, seeing that we do not have to repent for it, work for it, or wait for it, but simply believe what God says regarding Christ "having made peace by the blood of his cross," (Col. 1:20). "And being justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (Rom, 3:24), - and being, fully satisfied that our sin has been forgiven us in a righteous way, being put away by "the precious blood of Christ," (1 Pet. 1:19).
"Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures: And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures"
1 Cor. 15:1,3-4
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me"
Gal. 2:20
" For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ," (1 Cor. 3:11)
The just shall live by faith. This declaration of the Christian's principle of life is found four times in the bible.(Hab. 2:1-5; Rom. 1:17; Gal. 3:10; Heb. 10:38 )In Habakkuk we see the difference between the lives of the unjust and the just. The unjust are puffed up and live by their own self sufficiency.
But the just live by faith-their confidence is in God. To them faith is more than a philosophy of life. The righteous shall live his whole life by faith.
We are saved by faith, kept by faith, and we live by faith. Our faith shall be tried many times and in many ways but faith will always be vindicated, because it is more than equal to any occasion. Faith knows how to wait on the Lord and it is always victorious.
ETERNAL LIFE A FREE GIFT OF GRACE
John 6:44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. "
John 10:28 "And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand".
Romans 8:39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
