Ezekiel bread is one of the healthiest and easiest to digest breads you can eat as it is made with sprouted wheat berries, spelt grains, barley grains, green lentils, organic soy, lupin, mung, or other beans, as well as honey, olive oil, dry yeast, and salt which is optional. Ezekiel Bread Recipe
Ingredients: 2½ cups Sprouted wheat berries 1½ cups Sprouted spelt grains ½ cup Sprouted barley grains ½ cup Sprouted millet grains ¼ cup Sprouted green lentils 6 Tbsp. Sprouted organic soy, lupin, mung, and/or other starchy beans 4 cups Warm water 1 Tbsp. Honey ½ cup Olive oil 1½ Tbsp. (2 packets) active dry yeast 1 tsp. Salt (Sea Salt optional) Instructions: Preheat oven to 350ºF / 175ºC. Mix grains and legumes then rind them in a grain mill or a blender on high for several minutes to make flour. Place flour in mixing bowl and set to the side. In large mixing bowl put warm water, honey, olive oil, yeast, and salt. Add your flour 1/2 cup at a time until mix is doughy. Flour a bread board or clean counter top. Pour dough out on floured surface. Knead the dough for 5 minutes. Form dough into a ball shape and cover with a warmed lint free towel. (Flour sack towels work well). Let dough rise until it doubles in size. After dough doubles in size knead dough again for 5 minutes. Shape dough into loaf's or biscuit shapes and put into greased baking pans. Cover and let rise until dough has doubled in size. Preheat oven to 350ºF Butter top of loaves and biscuits with melted butter and a brush. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. Yields approx. 40-45 servings.
