The answer's to most of our questions are usually in the Holy Bible. The following are questions with biblical answer's about the Holy Ghost. How did the Holy Spirit Get Here? When Jesus Christ died on the cross, he departed this physical world and sent the Holy Spirit (Comforter) to us as he told His disciples: Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart I will send him unto you. St.John 16:7 When will I receive this power? Jesus tells us that we will receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon us and that when it happens we will tell others about Him. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8 What will the Holy Spirit do?Jesus said the Holy Spirit would reprove (correct the wrong thinking) the world of sin, righteousness and of judgement.Jesus said "And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness, and of judgement" St. John 16:8 Jesus said, the Holy Spirit would glorify Him, receive what is His from the Lord (Father) and show it to us. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. Why will the Holy Spirit Reprove the World? The Holy Spirit of Truth will reprove the world of sin because the people do not believe in him. Of righteousness because when Jesus was crucified he went with his Father and people on earth would not see him anymore. Of Judgement, because the prince of this world is judged.
Of sin, because they believe not on me. St. John 16:9
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; St. John 16:10
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. St John 16:11
Who will be glorified by the Holy Spirit? Jesus said the Holy Spirit would glorify Him (Jesus Christ) and that he (the Holy Spirit) will show us what belongs to Jesus. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. St. John 14:15 All things that the Father hath are mine; therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you. St. John 14:15 What will the Holy Spirit Say? Jesus said the Spirit of truth will guide us to help us find the truth and show us the things to come. The Holy Spirit will only speak words He receives from the Lord. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come." St. John 16;13 Specific Instructions from Jesus Jesus was very clear. All the power over heaven and earth was given to Him. He left clear specific instructions telling us to: Teach all nations to do what He tells us to do Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost Jesus assures us that He will be with us until the end of the world. Teach, baptize, and observe His commandments "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." Matthew 2:18 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and,, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen .Matthew 28:20 Jesus gives the disciples specific examples of what they could do with the power of the Holy Ghost. Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. St. John 20;19 And when he had so said , he showed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. St.John 20:20 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me,even so send I you. St. John 20:21 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:St. John 20:22 Whoseoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them and whoseoever sins ye retain, they are retained. St. John 20:23 Contrary to popular belief, this power did not diminish with time. The reason people do not have this power or cannot seem to get it to work for them is because they do not believe. The power of the Holy Ghost works through belief, faith, without faith (belief) in Christ, there is no power because if people refuse to believe in it they will not see it. However, for those who do believe-they will not only see it but have the ability to put it to work in their lives and the lives of others. What the Holy Ghost can do for you The Holy Spirit can give you power to ask for something in Jesus name and get your requests,(prayers) answered. No man can steal your happiness and joy. He teaches us how to pray, how to talk, how to teach. Jesus assures us we will see him again. He tells us we can ask the Father, in Jesus's name and the Father will give it to you.He wants us to be happy, joyful. Jesus says before that time people were unable to ask the Father for anything in his name implying that when they asked before that their prayers may have been hindered. Jesus was the blood sacrifice that covered all sin from the eyes of the Lord and because of this covering we are now able to make requests of the Father (who loves us) by using Jesus name---Raw Power Unleashed. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. St John 16:22 How to use this power to your advantage And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.. St John 16:23 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.St John 16:24 The plain simple truth will be revealed by Jesus He will teach us everything we need to know, making it plain to understand, no longer speaking in proverbs or parables but so that you can understand it. These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs:but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father St. John 16:25 Jesus will pray for you At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: St. John 14:26 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.St. John 16:27 The Breakdown
