The requirements from the Lord are not as difficult to do as the devil would like you to believe. The Lord made the Ten Commandments as written in the Old Testament and other commandments for us to follow. Jesus requires that you believe and be baptized to be saved. Once saved you can receive blessings from the Lord, although you receive many gifts from the Lord simply by His grace when you have found favor in God's eyes. Jesus spoke to the disciples telling them that all power was given to Him and Jesus tells us to do certain things.
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Matthew 28:18
Jesus tells us to teach all nations and to baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Jesus clearly states that everyone that believes and is baptized will be saved and the people who do not believe and get baptized will be damned.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19
And he said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15
What happens if someone does not believe and does not get baptized?
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:16
Jesus tells us to teach people to observe everything He has commanded us and he reassures us that He is with us all the way to the end, even to the end of the world.
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the worlds. Amen. Matthew 28:20
