About The Book of Nahum:
Author: Nahum
Nahum was the seventh of the twelve minor prophets in the Old Testament whose prophecy is recorded in the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible). The meaning of Nahum's name is Comfort. Nahum was a Hebrew and an Elkoshite (which indicates the town he is from called Elkosh or Alqosh). Nahum taught people during King  Manesseh's reign (a well known evil King).

Nahum is said to be the sequel to The Book of Jonah.
