How to Get Saved
Breaking news! Just being "good" or doing the "right" thing will NOT get you into the kingdom of heaven. If you plan on getting to heaven then you must be saved by grace and you must be born again. You must be saved or you do not belong to HIM. Our Savior Jesus Christ, God's Son died on the cross for our sins and you must believe and receive Him in order to get to heaven. If you are not saved or are not sure if you are saved, then you need to read this! If you are saved you are saved forever and you strive to renew your relationship with God, daily. We are saved by faith and the grace of God by the blood of Jesus Christ (Yah-weh, Yeshua) Before you can be saved, you must believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died for your sins. Jesus is the only way to be saved.
Your Deliverance From Sin is By the Grace of God
“The deliverance, by the grace of God, from eternal punishment for sin which is granted to those who accept by faith, God’s conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. Salvation is available in Jesus alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:12) and is dependent, on God alone for provision, assurance, and security. Christ died for our sins..." Repentance is just an empty word, without any attendant convicting ministry of the Holy Spirit, that faith from God empowers, in the called out believer. Those who profess Christ without conviction of sin will be led to a false belief and not saved" (Chaim, The AbaloneKid).
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
What You Need To Know About Getting Saved
Repenting of your sins means you feel regret and are sorrowful for the sins you have committed and you ask the Lord to forgive you for sinning. You turn away from sin and spend your life striving to sin no more. Of course, there is no one without sin. Not even those who are saved, and if they say they do not sin, it is a lie.
John the Baptist said he would baptize with water unto repentance.
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Matt. 3:1
"It is crucially important that we understand repentance is not a work we do to earn salvation. No one can repent and come to God unless God pulls that person to Himself
God's long suffering leads us to REPENTANCE (2 Peter 3:9), as does His kindness (Romans 2:4)".
Turning from sin is not the definition of repentance, but it is one of the results of genuine faith-based repentance, AFTER Salvation vests through the Lord Jesus Christ" (Chaim, The AbaloneKid).
