When there are times of trouble in your life the Lord is your refuge. He will strengthen you, bless you and hide your from your enemies who may have the mindset to do you harm. The Lord will hide you in His secret tabernacle and set you upon a rock. In the Hebrew Bible, the tabernacle is a residence or dwelling place. (Hebrew: מִשְׁכַּן, mishkān, meaning "residence" or "dwelling place"),
Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
The Lord will hold you up, strengthen you, deliver you from trouble, bless you and will protect you from the will of your enemies if you help the poor.
Psalm 41:1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Psalm 41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
Psalm 41:3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
You are chosen and you are the Lord’s servant. He will not desert you so do not be afraid because the Lord is with you to strengthen you and help you in your time of need. The Lord will fight your battles for you and you only need to be silent.
Isaiah 41:9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
Exodus 14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
The Lord who made heaven and earth does not sleep during your times of trouble because He is your keeper and the Lord will preserve you and keep you safe from all evil, He will preserve your soul forever.
Psalm 121:2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Psalm 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Psalm 121:5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
Psalm 121:6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
Psalm 121:7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
Psalm 121:8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Do good and not evil, pursue peace because the Lord hears the righteous and rescues them when they cry out for help. He does not turn His face away from the righteous who do His will but He will turn His face against those who do evil. The Lord is close to the broken hearted and those with a contrite spirit who are feeling remorseful, penitent or guilty. No matter what afflictions you face the Lord will deliver you from them all.
Psalm 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Psalm 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
Psalm 34:16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
Psalm 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
