How to put on the full armor of God The Epistle of Ephesians was said to have been written by the Apostle Paul to the Jews and the Gentiles whose constant conflicts were threatening to divide the church. When we have complete faith (belief) in the Lord's abilities to stop wickedness from harming you, in essence you are believing that the Lord will help you to withstand the awful things that could come against you
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Eph. 6:16
When we are saved we wear the helmet of salvation. Our sword is the Holy Spirit with which we will destroy the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit
Eph. 6:17 When we pray we should pray in the Spirit and watch over each other praying for one another in perseverance and supplication.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Eph. 6:18
