The Biblical wife should be virtuous, trustworthy, strong, honorable, be good to her family, be a helper for her husband and take good care of their children. A good wife should be a God fearing woman who will happily work, shop for food, prepare meals for her family, earn money honestly, speak wisely and with kindness, so that all who see her will know she is a good wife who loves her husband and children and as a result her husband will cherish her and her children will love her and be blessed because of her.

The head of a wife is her husband
1 Corinthians 11:1-34 ESV Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you. But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God. Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head, but every wife who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, since it is the same as if her head were shaven. .
