Angels in the Bible

Here you will find a list of bible verses about angels, studies about angels, and angel appearances in the bible.  Angels were created by God. They praise God and worship Him. People do not become Angels just as Angels will never become human, although they can take on human forms. Angels are God's Messengers.  Throughout biblical history Angels have been identified as God's Messengers. Angels should not be worshiped. 
  • And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Luke 4:8 .  ​
