And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. St. Mark 16:15 We believe Jesus rose from the dead and first appeared to Mary Magdalene-the very same woman that he had cast seven devils out of. after she seen him she ran out and told everyone mourning and weeping for our Lord. Yet many did not believer her. Jesus came to the 11 remaining disciples and reprimanded them for their unbelief and after this Jesus reminded them of their great commission which is the same great commission we strive to achieve on a daily basis. Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. St. Mark 16:9 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. St. Mark 16:10 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had seen of her, believed not. St. Mark 16:11 And that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. St. Mark 16:12 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them. St. Mark 16:13 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. St. Mark 16:14 Our Great Commission Jesus commissioned his disciples to go into the world, preaching the gospel to every creature and we believe this mighty commission is our great commission of which we are unworthy of this great honor and will strive to do His will daily.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. St. Mark 16:15
We believe in Jesus, are baptized, and saved because we do not want to be damned.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. St. Mark 16:16
We believe that because we are true believers and followers of Christ that as his disciples we have enough faith cast out devils, speak in new tongues, and if our faith is strong enough that serpents and poison cannot harm us. We also believe that our faith is strong enough to lay hands on the sick and they will recover.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; St. Mark 16:17
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. St. Mark. 16:18
It is a great commission Jesus Christ has assigned to us and we uphold these core beliefs in our lives. See Our Core Beliefs:
