There is a cure for everything that ails you but before you can get it you need to know how to go about getting your miracle.Why do we suffer from illness, sickness, and pain when there is an obvious cure sitting right in front of our face but is unavailable to most people simply because they do not believe that God has the power to heal. God does have the power to heal you from any type of illness or disease. It does not matter, even if you have brought the sickness upon yourself from unhealthy choices in life healing from God is still available to you if you do His will and have enough faith. Part of the reason that healing from God does not happen very much anymore is because people stopped believing that God could heal them. If you do not believe that God can heal you then He can’t or won’t. You must understand the power of the Holy Spirit (Ghost) the comforter that Jesus Christ left with us has an incredible amount of power at our disposal but in order to use it we have to have faith. How much faith do you need to perform a miracle? You must have faith-as much as a mustard seed is all you need.

• And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matt. 17:20
  
  

The one time Jesus could not perform a miracle and why
There was only one time when Jesus could not perform a miracle during His time on earth and that was when he was among His own people who knew Him, many of whom knew Jesus as a child and these people did not believe Jesus could perform miracles. The reason cited for this lack of miracles was unbelief which translates to a lack of faith.

• And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith. Matt. 13:58

So if you are desire and expect a miracle it stands to reason that you must release the Lord's power into your life by having faith-believing that He can do it.

Is there a trick to getting healed?
There is no trick to getting healed but there are specific procedures outlined in the bible that will ensure that you do if you follow them and if what you are asking is in line with God’s will. Jesus can heal all types of illnesses, physical, mental, or even demon possessions.

• When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. Matt. 17:14 NIV

• "Lord have mercy on my son”, he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. Matt. 17:15 NIV

• I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him." Matt. 17:16 NIV

• “You unbelieving and perverse generation” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me. Matt. 17:17 NIV

Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment. Matt. 17:18 NIV

• Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” Matt. 17:19
  
  

How much faith you will need for a miracle
Jesus explained to the disciples that if they only have the faith of a mustard seed they could perform miracles simply by telling something to happen and it will happen. The same hold true for us today. If you want a real healing miracle you will have to summon up some faith, the size of a mustard seed. This does not seem like much but you may notice that when you hear of a miracle or a healing that the first thing you think is a doubt in your mind that it could be real. Faith is believing in something even if you cannot see it at the time. That takes a considerable amount of courage to take a leap of faith and believe that the Lord will heal you even if you still have signs or symptoms of what ails you.

• He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matt. 17:20

Jesus also explained  to the disciples that really big miracles such as driving out demons require prayer and fasting.

• “But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting: Matt. 17:21

Why you are entitled to be healed
When Jesus died on the cross our sins are no longer held against us before God which makes us pure in His eyes because our sins have been made white as snow from the blood that Jesus shed for us. When we walk in His path and do His will we can be healed because Christ purified us with His own blood.

• Who his own self  bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24
  
  

The first step to get healing is confessing your faults one to another
Confess your faults one to another so that you can be healed.You should be saved before you ask for healing. By asking God for forgiveness of your sins, and confessing your faults one to another before you pray for healing you are purifying yourself and getting ready to be healed.

• Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

What to do when your miracle doesn't just happen even though you prayed for it

When you ask for a miracle and it doesn’t’ happen it may be because you need to give it a little extra boost! Jesus and his disciples performed miracles and Jesus said that we could move mountains if we have enough faith, however, the part many people overlook is that for really big miracles you need to do a bit more than just ask. When you want something big you must do what Jesus did. You must have faith, fast and pray.

The bible clearly states that health, cures, peace and truth are available to us!

• Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. Jer. 33:6

Jesus healed a boy with a demon when nobody else could because they did not have enough faith
Healing comes from the Lord, however, we as disciples have been given the power to heal. Jesus was able to heal because God the Father gave Him the power to do so and Jesus gave this power to His disciples as well. However, this type of power is only available through faith. On this occasion Jesus’s disciples could not cure a mans son who was considered a lunatic and Jesus told them it was because of their unbelief that the man’s son was not healed.
"Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic and is very ill; for he often falls into the  fire and often into the water. Matt. 17:15

• I brought him to your disciples and they could not cure him. Matt. 17:16 

• And Jesus answered and said, "You unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be  with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me."…Matt. 17:17 

• And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and the boy was cured at once.…Matt. 17:18

The Lord has the ultimate power to bless and heal you
The Lord gives reassurances that He can bless and heal you but keep in mind that in order to receive His blessings and healing that you must obey his commandments, confess your sins, be saved, and follow Christ’s example by loving one another, praying, studying, and telling others about Him. If you are a servant of the Lord He will bless your food, water, and heal your sicknesses.

• And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Exodus 23:25

• Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. Psa. 103:3

As Jesus Christ’s disciples you have the power to heal
Jesus grants power to heal others to His disciples. The disciples were personal followers of Jesus Christ’s teachings. As saved follower’s of Jesus Christ we also are His disciples and have the power to heal. We are to pray for one another and believe that what we pray will happen if it is God’s will. If you have already had a disciple pray over you and are still not healed it is possible that it is because of a lack of belief or faith on either your part or the person who prayed for you’s part. Both must believe in faith healing. If your elders believe in faith healing you should have them anoint you with oil and pray over you.

• Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Matt. 10:8

• Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. James 5:14

Even though you ask others to pray for you it is important to realize that they are not healing you, however, the Lord is healing you. Do not be dismayed if you do not see proof of the healing immediately, sometimes you may still have symptoms this may be because of a lack of faith which means the healing may not have taken place but more often than not it may be because the devil wants you to keep the symptoms so he can try to break down your belief that you are healed.

Speak words of healing over your life if you need a miracle!
It is important to believe you are healed and speak you are healed over your life as your words have power.

• Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Prov. 18:21

Speaking good things or bad things determines what will happen in your life
The words you speak have incredible power over what happens in your life. A tree is known by it's fruit, If you speak good things about your life-good things will happen in your life and if you speak bad things-bad things will happen in your life because your words have power that can change your life when you speak them.

• Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. Matt. 12:33 

Following the Lord’s words will bring life and good health to your whole body

• The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. Prov. 4:18

• But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. Prov. 4:19
  
  
• My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Prov. 4:20
  
  
• Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; Prov. 4:21
  
  
• for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. Prov. 4:22
  
  
• Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life Prov. 4:23
  
  

Will you need a doctor to perform your healing miracle?
This is not to say that you may not see a doctor if you think you may be sick. In early biblical times people were instructed to go to the priest for prayer, diagnosis, and treatments just as you go to doctors today, although few if any doctors today, may pray over you, unless you ask them to. I had a Christian doctor and asked him to pray for me before my surgery and he did. I had been very afraid to undergo the surgery but it was a necessary operation that if I had not had it I would have probably died. God gives doctors the power to heal too albeit by physically repairing your body. However, if your faith is strong enough you would not even need a doctor but very few people have this type of faith. That is not to say you cannot have this type of faith, you surely can, but you must be of a pure heart and body, pray, have others pray for you, fast, and believe that the Lord has the power to heal you and He will do it.  If your faith is not strong enough or your physical health prevents you from fasting then you will need a prayer warrior, a disciple of Christ to do the fasting for you. Prepare yourself before you ask the Lord for a miracle by confessing your sins, getting saved, praying, fasting (if possible), and most of all strengthening your faith in the Lord’s ability to heal you. If you feel you need a doctor then you probably do. God gave doctors the knowledge to help us when we are sick but remember the greatest physician of all is the Lord so trust HIM for your miracle. You must believe it to receive it.
